HISTORIC RALLYING
- The Great Race - long distance regularity across America for pre-1951 all vehicles plus 1951 through 1959 sports and race cars, $275,000 purse, run for 2 weeks each June
- Historic Rally Car Register - the organisation to join if you want to do shorter UK historic rallies, perhaps before tackling longer HERO events. Most HERO officials are active HRCR members.
- Liège-Rome-Liège - one of the best Continental classic rallies, recalling what was probably the greatest and toughest of the famous events of the 1950s and 1960s
- Mille Miglia - official site (in Italian) for one of the world's great occasions for classic car buffs, held each May
- Rallye des Alpes - Swiss event with strong links to the HRCR, recalling the great Alpine Rallies of the past
- Targa Rusticana - good site of Oxford University Motor Drivers' Club, organisers of the UK's premier weekend historic road rally, the demanding Targa Rusticana (early September)
- Targa Tasmania - one of the world's great events for classic cars, held in late April/early May each year
- Tulpenrallye - excellent site (in English) on one of Europe's top classic rallies, Holland's Tulip Rally , held each April
- Trans World Events - organisers of London - Sydney 2004, and other long distance high speed special stage events for suitably modified classic cars
- Vintage Sports-Car Club - the UK's, and perhaps the world's, biggest club for owners of pre-war cars, with an annual programme of over 40 rallies, trials, race meetings, hillclimbs, sprints and driving tests.
- Historic Photographs - This new web site features part of a collection of photographs taken by Peter Robinson during the late Sixties and early Seventies.

- Classic Motors Magazine - good UK webzine with details on events, autosales and much more
- Buy Classic Car - as the title suggests, good resource for buying and selling, also club and other information
- Motorsport.com - US webzine with rallying pages and links to rally sites
- Rally America! - as it says, mainly American rallying, and a good introduction to this
- Sandmans Motorsport Page - excellent American motorsport pages with lots on rallying
- UK Motorsport - John Upham's well known British motor sport site with links all around with world

- Ordnance Survey - the home site of Britain's official mapmakers - gives a useful catalogue of their products but not much else - does give latest edition numbers of Landranger maps
- Michelin computerised Internet Route Planner, Maps and Guides - site includes catalogue of Michelin's excellent maps, and guides, and a unique (but not free) service for giving computerised route map and printout of instructions
- DeLorme Maps of USA - catalogue of best US map producer: range of state atlases, and superb and inexpensive CD-ROMs giving detailed road and street maps of the entire USA (available in Britain).

- Licence plates - American site with information on licence plates from all over the world
