Peter was born near Goodwood motor racing circuit in Sussex, and grew up through its heyday of the 1950s. The thrill obviously rubbed off: he started rallying in the 1960s as a co-driver, and entered many national and international rallies. After a break while his family grew up, he returned, this time to the historic rally scene, driving a Renault Alpine and then a Lotus Cortina. Peter's favourite personal item will be a credit card. Carolynn, he says, has always looked on from the sidelines with his rallying. This will be her first event. She promises to learn how to map read as they go along.
