1 Enclosures Please check that the following are enclosed with this Bulletin :
2 Officials (Regulations, Article 3). The Competitor Liaison Officer (CLO) will be Rob Lyall. He will be available at the start and finish of each day and some other Major Controls on route, and should be your first point of call if you have any queries regarding the route, results or any other rallying subject.
3 Age Categories and Classes (Article 6) These are now as shown on the enclosed entry list. If any of your details are missing or listed incorrectly please let us know as soon as possible.
4 Withdrawal of entry (Article 10) The deadline for withdrawing entries is Monday 13 August. If you withdraw from the event after that date, we will already have paid most of the costs (hotels, functions, etc) and so will not be able to refund your entry fee.
5 Maps (Article 12) Please find enclosed a Map Order Form. Use this to order maps, atlases and the excellent Map Book directly from Rallymaps.
6 Tests (Article 18) If on a Test an observer deems that you have not attempted to stop astride a line as required by the instructions, you will be penalised the same as for taking the wrong route (i e 30 marks).
7 Penalties (Article 21h) Amend this article to read, "Stopping or slowing unduly on a Regularity Section, other than as permitted in Regulation 17........60".
8 Insurance (Article 25) Due to a take over, the scheme originally offered by the Organisers through Bradstock Insurance Brokers Limited, is now offered through Alexander Forbes Motor Sports Risk Services. The address and other contact details remain the same as for Bradstock. Existing Bradstock cover remains unchanged.
9 SOS/OK Boards As detailed in the Eligibility and Specification Guidelines that accompanied the Supplementary Regulations and formed part of them, all participants must carry an A4 size white board with a red SOS on one side and OK on the other. This should be used after an incident to indicate to following participants if medical assistance is required (SOS) or that the crew are safe (OK). Participants observing an SOS sign must stop to offer assistance (which would usually be to call the relevant public emergency services). If you see a crew displaying an OK board, the Regulations do not oblige you to stop, but if you are not too pressed for time we do hope that you will voluntarily do so and offer any assistance the crew may require (such as a tow out of a ditch) - this is normal rallying good manners. Even if you dont stop, please take a note of the location and report the incident at the next control. These boards are available from John Wood (our Chief Marshal) at InCompass, tel/fax 01409 211647, and can be delivered to Documentation, but you MUST order them in advance.
10 Liège Timing Clipboard Integral to the Liège Timing system that we will be using on this event, is a microchip attached to a clipboard. You will be issued with one of these clipboards at Documentation, and must return it at the final control. If you do not return it you will be charged £10 for replacement.
