Briefing Seminar
Sunday 1 September - National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull, West Midlands
The Great Tour of China 4x4 Adventure Drive 2003 and the Great Silk Road Rally to Australia 2004 are HERO's next long distance adventures. If reading about these events has fired your imagination and you're eager to find out more, this is your opportunity. If you are excited by the chance to travel the world in your own vehicle, and want to know how to prepare yourself and your car to cope, come along to the lunch and Briefing Seminar on 1 September from 13:00.
Based at the National Motorcycle Museum near Birmingham (adjacent to Birmingham International Airport) and running on the afternoon of HERO's Training Day, this seminar will not only give you an introduction to our upcoming events, but will also answer a number of frequently asked questions and let you get to know some of the experts that will be on both events. There will be ample opportunity for you to ask your own questions of 'the team' and raise any ideas or suggestions.
Members of the event organising teams in attendance will include:
Mark Appleton |
Clerk of the Course |
John Brown |
HERO Chief Executive |
Mrs Joanna Brown |
Business Director |
Dr Greg Williams |
Medical Officer |
Tim 'Jingers' Riley |
Mechanic Extraordinaire |
For those already entered for one of the events there is no charge for the Seminar or for lunch. If you have not yet entered, the cost for lunch and the afternoon is £25 per person or just £10 per person without lunch. Additionally, why not come along to the HERO training sessions in the morning and learn more about the arts of navigation and rallymanship for an overall cost of just £35 per person or £60 for two?
