LATE NEWS – LISBON RETURN 28 AUGUST 2002

CANCELLATION

We have regrettably decided to cancel the transporter service today due to lack of interest! 50% of those who had expressed their intention to use the service have changed their minds.

Therefore it means we have only a 50% load which makes the costing totally uneconomical. For those who did want the service, we are quite prepared to hand over details of the companies approached should they wish to make their own arrangements. However we should perhaps suggest that you err on the side of caution at this late stage as it is apparent that little research had been done on the cost of returning from Lisbon without the car. Cheap flights are available from Faro but not Lisbon to the best of our knowledge.

All we can say is apologies to those who genuinely wanted the service at this late stage and we will not be stopping any admin costs as per our last newsletter last week. Any monies received will be returned.
